COVID Vaccination

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has been offered the Covid vaccination yet. I am on Folfiri and Cetuximab fortnightly and am a little bit worried about accepting it when offered. X

Hi Kareno62 thank you for the info , haven't been on here for a week or two so missed Courts message. I guess I will have to time a vaccine right between my fortnightly chemo x

Hi Marycl, I had my first covid jab yesterday. I'm on immunotherapy and my nurse said yes get it. It was just the right time, in the middle of my 4weekly treatment. I feel fine. ️

Hi Moi2, that' s good to hear, and the timing was perfect for you too!

I have my chemo fortnightly and the Cetuximab gives me sore skin so may need to miss that off my treatment that week so that i can have the vaccination.

I had mine last Friday through work, 4 days before my fortnightly FOLFIRI chemo and I was fine! Good luck, Jayne x
