Hi All,
My wife and i have been tested positive for the virus which was a great shock being we had been ultra careful, anyway we are recovering well at home so far so good, then i spoke to a friend who told me he had lung cancer and was going through chemo after already having radiotherepy over christmas.
I spoke to him at christmas which he had said he had some news of his own but i didn't push for an answer as i thought it may be lung cancer following some tests he had which he woulldn't tell me about the results, i guess he plucked up the courage following our conversation yesterday.
He said it was stage 2 but was vague about the full details so i did't push him for details, i figure he will tell me when he's ready.
I really wand to help as much as possible such as advice on eating well and resting when required but i know he's not one for doing this, he works 24/7 as a carpenter and has a young daughter of 16 which she is aware, i suppose i will just have to offer the information and let him decide what to do with it.
Hope you are all coping the best way we can,
Btw, you can't have the covid virus injection until you are past 28 days from a positive covid test date, found this out from my doctor when his surgery offered me the jab and i questioned it and he confirmed with a return call.
All the best
TG
Hey Technical guru I was just thinking about you the other day !
Sorry to hear you both had covid . Honestly that’s so unfortunate when you have been trying so hard . Hope you are both progressing through it .My sister has had to wait for a month after catching covid to get vaccinated, thankfully she had it now with no side effects .
Sounds as though your area of doing well . My mum phoned the other day as my dad is in his 80 . Ran out ! But the GP will take them in and do it at the surgery when possible as I would not like him trying to navigate a bigger location . He has a previous stroke so it just would not work .
Hope your having a nice weekend . We had a beautiful day here !
