Hello! I'm new here and somehwere I never thought I would be 20 years after mastectomy for ER+PR+HER2- BC. This was followed by 5 yrs Tamoxifen, Zoladex, then full hysterectomy, so felt I had been cured!
This diagnosis was one week ago so shell shocked. Luckily at the moment mets only in ribs, spots in spine and pelvis. CT body no disease found.
Tomorrow I start Letrozole. Really anxious as have read about so many side effects. Also I will need bisphosphonate infusion. Already have osteoporosis!
I am 73 and would really appreicate anyone my age who is going through this too can share their experience.
