I was diagnosed with secondary bone cancer in my hip and spine six months ago. Treatment has been Trastusumab and pertuzumab plus Zolendronic acid. A scan last week shows that my bones are healing and there is no sign of spread of the cancer. I hope this is encouraging for everyone to hear who may be at the start of the journey. It is also wonderful that I have no horrible side effects from the treatment and feel really well. Two sessions of docetaxel at the beginning were too much for my body to cope with so this is immunotherapy alone.
Hi Margaritt. It's great to read that your scan results were positive and that you didn't suffer any adverse side effects from the treatment. For those just starting their treatment it is always very encouraging to hear positive news so thank you for sharing.
Sending hugs, B xx
