Hi all,

Ive been changed to Ibandronic Acid tablets instead of the Denosumab injections because of Covid19. The side effects look scary and there are more instructions on how to take this. I take omeprazole every morning. Does anyone know if this will interact with or inhibit the absorption of the Ibandronic acid? Am I still safe to take the omeprazole?

  • I have been taking Ibandronic  Acid for about 3.5years and Lanzoprazole for about two plus other meds and when I was prescribed no mention was made of interactions with other drugs.  I just make sure I take the Lanzoprazole first thing and leave time before other meds as instructed. Double check if you’re worried. All the best
