Hi. I have breast cancer, secondary bone.  Stable for nearly three years. Had a ct scan 5 weeks ago, bone is stable but consultant said slight change less than 10% in breast.   Did she mean the origConfusedal tumour?  I have a fair bit of scar tissue only ever had a biopsy there.  Since then i now have swollen neck glands which i saw doctor about last Thursday as my consultant passed the buck. Doc phoConfusedd consultant and i am now waiting on a neck/head scan andva bone scan.  My neck is uncomfortable and have funny feeling now and again like tingling goimg up and down my head and my arms and legs at Confusedmes. I have had a bit of pain at top of my back.  I can now feel two lumps in my breast and im sure the nipple is starting to invert.  Can the breast cancer grow again? Im all confused Confused

Hi, I bet your head is all over the place at the moment, all we like to hear once we have secondary breast cancer is that everything is stable so when there is new symptoms and things said at your oncology appointments the worry sets back in.

I’m quite surprised that you feel like your oncologist only touched on the new findings and didn’t give you enough information regarding this, we don’t want to leave one of those appointments filled with questions and I think they know that, so if she didn’t and I think she should know know the answers then she should be doing what your GP has got done for you. I think it can grow again in fact I’m sure as my friend had breast cancer regrow, saying that she was in remission whereas I am not sure of your treatment, I’m on oral chemo, are you taking meds for your secondaries?  And pain relief?

    Much love Jo xx
