Good Morning,
My oncologist has suggested starting on Denosumab (with a calcium/Vitamin D) to help maintain bone strength. She has pointed out it is not a chemotherapy drug = think it is also used in treatment of .osteoporosis. Have had to have a dental check-up. Anyone else had this course of treatment?
Thanks.

Hello
I have been prescribed Denusab too. I had to have 5 teeth removed in order for me to receive the treatment. It's very important to have regular dental checkups.
I hope you are doing well x
Yes, Ihave had 2 cycles now with no side effects. I have secondary cancer in my spinal cord. I also take Letrozole and Abermycyclib along with and also calcium tabs.
I know Denisomab can result in unwanted side effects but so far so good. I also had the dental x Ray.
