Hi,
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of taking Pregabalin? I’ve had new hip/side pain when scans show stable ( I have cancer in spine and pelvis) and they think it’s referred pain from my spine- that a few nerves are being squeezed so they have prescribed Pregabalin but the side effects are pretty scary and I’m scared to start them.
Thanks
Jo x
Hi, I was prescribed Pregabalin after surgery to remove a tumour from my left lung. The surgery was successful but I had quite a bit of pain afterwards on my left side. Tramadol induced very unpleasant side effects so Pregabalin was tried. It reduced the nerve pain from the surgery & I had no noticeable side effects. I would say - try it for s few days & see how it goes. You can always stop if you react badly to it.
Thank you very much for your reply! Yes I think I need to try it to see if it’s nerve pain or bone pain.
Thanks
