Hey Bluesky,
I'm afraid I've no experience of those drugs as my type of cancer is treated differently, even if it's in the bones.
However I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the group.

Hi Bluesky
I have just joined this group in the hope of finding an answer to a Zometa question. I’ve been on a monthly infusion for two and a half years for kidney met in my clavicle. It seems to be working well for me and I’ve had some bone regrowth around a tumour that had broken through .
i experienced the flu like symptoms and bone pain when I first had it, each time for a few days after the infusion, for the first few months. I suddenly realised around 5 to 6 months in that all of the side effects had just gone and now I have it every month without even thinking about it. For me the infusion itself is only 15 minutes and I’m normally in and out in about 40 minutes by the time my obs are done my line goes in it runs and the line comes out again
hope that’s useful!
