Hi all I’m new here and wasn’t sure whether to post or not as I haven’t had a diagnosis. I’m currently waiting for the results of my contrast mri that I had done last Friday.

Back in June I had an X-ray on my left shoulder because I’d had a lump on it, it had been there since 2024 just a lot smaller and was diagnosed back in 2024 with calcification tendonitis, I returned to have it looked at as the pain was becoming unbearable and the lump had significantly grown, they told me a week later they thought I had a soft tissue sarcoma. I was then sent for an ultrasound and ct which both have said possible synovial sarcoma, chondrosarcoma or osteosarcoma.

It’s been six weeks since that first X-ray report and I’m going out of my mind still waiting for these MRI results.

I’m just reaching out to anyone who may be in the same boat or has been.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I know how hard waiting for results can be so you might find this article on how to ease worry when waiting for medical test results helpful. I found that trying to occupy as much of my time as possible doing things that I enjoyed helped.

I hope you don't have too much longer to wait.
