Hello group , not a club I thought I would be joining in my 40s never heard before of bone cancer in your pelvis area so this is all new . I have suffered with back pain and hip pain and though would ju
need a new hip as mobility has been getting more and more limited and then Bang
scan shows a area which the biopsy can’t give a 100 % confidence so it’s the images they are going on as right in the hips socket area .
I can see some people have been though a lot so want to first say well done on keeping motivated and finding the strength on your personal journey.
i feel like on a rollercoaster as i have to decide on the surgery as its a grey area it may grown slowly over time and at present its like a golf ball . So I’m lucky . But been advised at some point I will need surgery but I get to decide if I wait and have scan every 3 mths .
so looking for some tips or can I say input to how you all are coping with post surgery as I have been told will have to relearn to walk again as will need my hip and bone from pelvis removed and will be in hospital for 30 days the key worry they have is infection and have skin grafts .
I am all mixed up as miss going to work and doing things I love so though at first the scan would show it’s my hip and be a simple fix but that’s not life .
thank you in advance for reading and taking time out of your life’s to help me x
