Hi I'm 46, had pain in my right femur intermittent since Feb this year, doctor said it's muscular made a physiotherapy appointment but I cancelled it thinking this ain't muscular, recently visited GP and pushed for an xray for peace of mind, I'm very concerned. Has anyone else experienced this pain ?
Hi Skeleton and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm not a member of this group, but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be easier for other group members to see.
Have you had your x-ray yet?
I have also had thigh pain in my left femur just above my knee since ~Feb ‘24. An X-ray, then MRI were performed but the doctor said that there was nothing wrong. The pain is daily, worse at night, and seems to be slowly rising up my femur. Now, I have a $5,600 bill (I’m in the US), daily bone pain, and no diagnosis.
I hope you were able to recover quickly.
What types of symptoms have others had?
Hi Kashmir.G and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community but not a member of this group so can't answer your question about what symptoms people with bone cancer have had.
Can I recommend that you start a new post in this group asking your question as it will then be more visible to the other members. You could always copy and paste your message from here into your new post.
When you have time, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
