Hi.
My son had osteosarcoma when he was 14. He had chemotherapy and surgery on his left leg to remove the tumour including knee cap and large amount of bone on either side.
He got better. Life returned to normal. He went to college and went onto university. He's now 18 and his cancer has returned with a large tumour in his left lung. First lot of chemotherapy didn't work. Doctors are in discussion about surgery. We are waiting to see if the new chemo is working.
At this stage I don't know what else to say. My head is in a fog of too much thoughts , feelings, how to feel, why , what, cry,
Anyway I'm his mum and I try to be by his side , go through this with him.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
