I'm sorry to read that your friend has recently been diagnosed with systemic mastocytosis. I have no experience with this condition but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.
I have searched the online community to see if anyone else has mentioned systemic mastocytosis and found these previous posts which you could have a look through and reply to any of the posters if you think that they might be able to help you further. Unfortunately, as they are several years old, the posters may no longer be part of the community and you might not get a response.
It would be great if you could pop something about your friend's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway.
