I had a bone biopsy in the right humerus over a week ago to determine whether the tumor in the arm is secondry from breast cancer I had 13 yrs ago or primary it's axis to axis and confined just waiting now for results next week by phone call then I presume I'd see the consultant again has anyone had this experience he did say it possibly will need surgery then radiotherapy

Am sorry to hear that you had to have a bone biopsy a week ago. I can understand that it is a worrying time when waiting for results.
In my own experience (although with a different type of cancer) I was given my results by phone call and a few days later I was sent a letter with an appointment to come in for a face to face appointment. The face to face appointment was to discuss treatment. I did have the option of having the results face to face instead of by phone but this would have delayed things. It sounds that you may be in a similar situation in that they want to get the results to you as soon as they can so you are not waiting unnecessarily and once you have them they can follow up with a face to face appointment if needed.
I hope that you do not have to wait too long. In the meantime do give the Support Line a call if it would help to talk to someone.
