Well I never thought I’d be joining a discussion group like this and still it hasn’t registered completely with me that I have bladder cancer. Had my TURBT on 1st July followed by the chemo straight into the bladder afterwards. Surgeon said removed a 2 cm tumour and now I have to wait 2 weeks to see if it’s non invasive or invasive. Literally no bleeding at all on Wednesday after the op but this evening (Saturday) quite a bit of bleeding and a bit of pain . Hope everyone is doing ok - I’m just trying to remain as positive as I can x

  • Hello  and welcome to this friendly group. We know how hard the early days of uncertainty and not knowing can be, but be aware BC can be treated successfully. Some bleeding is common after a TURBT as you you have an internal wound. If bleeding becomes excessive then contact the medics but this is rare. It Important not to do anything too strenuous in the early days so as not too aggravate things. Also very important to drink lots of water regularly in order to keep debris flushed out. When you get your results they will come up with a treatment plan for you. Don't be alarmed if you get called for any scans. All part of the process. Many here who have been through or are going through it. Feel free to ask anything or just come to chat

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
