Got my date 16th Jan for Turbt op , CT scan 27th December first and hopefully cancer hasn't spread but I'm not thinking about it.
Thank you everyone for your ongoing support , you really are amazing people and helping me cope. I was a total wreck when i found out but can't thank you all enough.
Love to all x
I’m so glad you have a date now and it’s not too long to wait although it always feels like ages.CT scan is routine and we all had some type of scan at the start. It all helps your team to get the full picture and decide on the best treatment once all results are back.I never found the TURBTS that bad and I’ve had several ( not all were cancer related) Love Jane xx
Thank you Jane and ongoing support. You're a breath of fresh air .
I have found friends on here that are truly remarkable and you all give me strength , i hope in a few months time i too can give support to someone. I was very negative when i found out i have cancer but now you and people like you have given me the strength to be more positive.
I will never forget the amazing , inspiring people on here.
Love you all x
Love and hugs to you Jane x
Hi Dave, im glad you have a date,
I had my TURBT before my CT scan…I too stayed in over night with a catheter…the procedure was very straight forward.
i was very well looked after…and I’m sure you will be…easier said than done, but try not to overthink everything…and if at some point you have a case of the “what ifs” drop a message on here for support…
I have found and continual to find this group invaluable…
Love to you and your family…xx
Nigel xx
Hi Aston63,
I didn't have a catheter with either of my TURBTs and I only ended up staying overnight for the first one as I passed out in the hospital bathroom due to a drop in my blood pressure. I came round to find the Crash Team around me - very embarrassing!!!
Now you have a date for the TURBT and CT scan try to enjoy Christmas with your family and not worry about January, easy to say I know, but you are in the system and will be well looked after when you go in to hospital.
Wishing you and your family a Wonderful, peaceful Christmas . And remember to stay positive, you can beat this ️
Love Ade xx
Thank you Ade
Happy Christmas to you and your family too. My friend
