Has anyone had experience of a TULA, trans urethral laser ablation.
I am having this procedure next Friday for suspicious tiny lesion on old resected scar.
Just wondered what people think.
Hi Bumblebee49 .Sounds like it all went well with a positive result. Best wishes going forward and don't forget to take on plenty of water. Best wishes.
Thanks Rily, yes I am trying to get as much down as I can, best wishes Tracey.
Thanks Angela, yes I am going to try and take it easy this weekend, few treats all the best xxx
So happy for you Bumblebee49 Glad that the TULA went well. Enjoy a relaxing weekend now.
Love Ade xx
Glad it went well for you BB49, I have been told today at my cystoscopy appt.that this is my next stage needed in the next couple of weeks, as I have a couple of “hanger-on’s” in the bladder that need sorting. At the moment I’m preferring this than another TURBT as this is seems better to get over afterwards. Luckily for me I’m in Somerset so it’s offered at Yeovil hospital
Yes it's so much better than a Turbt, had no after effects, little tiny bit of a sting for a day but drank loads water and they tell you there and then the outcome. Just a bit achy hips etc but back to normal so soon after, no groggy anestestic feelings. Good luck, get rid of those hangers on.
