Another month of waiting..

Rob R . hi Nigel. You can never read anything in to the timing of things. The results should be ready by now but it is usually down to the availability of your consultant to talk to you. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.

I know I say it a lot, but without this forum I would be in  a right mess. 

Hi Nigel, the waiting is just awful isn't it. I agree with Rily that you cant read anything into it. I had a 3rd turbt in november just to biopsy a red patch . I waited 42 days all over Xmas & new year. It was down to short staff, holidays and consultant availability. It isnt nice having to wait, I try not to let the what ifs take over, they can really mess with your head.

 I am sure the nerves will kick in a couple of days before the call, but thats in the future. I do mindfulness to help me to stay in the moment and live for today. It does help me.
 we can all prop each other up when having a wobble, this forum will get you through the wobbly bits.

Hi Nigel. Just a tip for when you get your call. Write down any questions you may have beforehand.  Record the conversation if you can as you will forget half of what's said. Ask to be copied in to the notes. It makes things easier to understand when in black and white. Best wishes.

im gonna record the phone conversation, I did this for the last phone appointment. It does help. 

My thinking that it can’t be bad news if they are keeping me waiting is a way of trying to cope with all of this.
