I am experiencing high levels of anxiety and find it very difficult to overcome my negative thoughts
Hi there. I'm the one who had RC 12 years ago, but my husband has since said it was the worst day of his life. So you are not alone, in the role of concerned loved one, who can do nothing but watch & wait. Your husband will be very weak & tired at the moment, but day by day there should be improvement, although there can be ups and downs along the way. Try to be patient, find a distraction to keep you busy while he is in hospital. Feel free to ask any questions about what to expect during recovery. Best wishes.
Thank you for your support. My husband has a c.diff infection at the moment which is delaying his discharge from hospital but I understand this infection not unusual after RC
