When you have a cystoscope and tumour s are found why do they say you have bladder cancer what if its not cancer or do they use this as all tumour are bladder cancer but may not be malignant
Hi Lorraine. Doctors can usually tell by experience what they are looking at, but cannot be sure until the biopsies are in. Only the biopsy can confirm if cancer or not. Best wishes.
Ah when I had the cystoscope he said I had tumour s and needed a turbt he mentioned bladder cancer I got a call from hospice asking me if I needed to talk or anything which was lovely of them I've just had a turbt yesterday waiting on results
