Hi all, so I hadn't posted in a while. I'm just over 8 weeks post operative from a radical urostomy. I've had my histology results and thank the lord above I my cancer hadn't spread to the lymph nodes & my surgeon said I'm currently in remission. To sat I'm over the moon is an understatement! I now feel like God has given me a second chance at life!
I wouldn't have been able to get through this without the help of the wonderful people on this group & the macmillan support line. Everyone has been amazing & I never thought I would ever come to terms with it. Those were the darkest times of my life & I can never thank you all enough.
I still have to have my follow up appointment with my specialist, just to finalise things & get referred back to my specialist in my county. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart x
