Hello All.
I have Bladder Cancer Aggressive but None Invasive,
I had a TORBT in July with chemo and am due for another in December.. I
I am used to COPD, HEART and ARTHRITIS problems but rather all those put together than this.
Hi ern007 and welcome to the group. You will find us friendly, informative and supportive. Sorry to hear your diagnosis makes you feel this way. My husband's bladder cancer was the same as yours. He has found that what many people say is true, ie, if you are going to have a form of cancer this is one of the most tolerable. Yes it has a strong tendency to recur, but if it is non invasive they will keep a close check on you and just keep treating as required. I say it is like dealing with weeds on a path, another one pops up and you just have to use another dose of weedkiller..
Best wishes, Denby

Hi Waffedog, Thank you for the welcome.
I was referred by GP first under 2 week rule. I was then given appointment for CT Scan then I had to go for "Flexible cystoscopy" after that I then had to go for TURBT.
Good Luck TURBT is better than an open op and I went home the day after,
Hi Denby, Thank you for your welcome.
It was not so much this cancer that was the only problem, only 18 months before I was investigated for Lung Shadow which in the end turned out to be more COPD scaring it seems,
I got a few shocks and that was why I made the comparison i did, but hoping after this December to be clear at least for this time, I had Chemo with my TURBT
Excellent point about Bladder Cancer being the best from what is a rum bunch, Thank's for your detailed reply.
Thanks ern007
yours seems similar to how their going with me.
best wishes

Hi . A follow up TURBT is normal and usually just a mopping up operation to see how things are and make sure nothing has been missed. Usually a lot less severe than the original op. My first follow up, I was in and out in less than a day. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
