I had a routine cystoscopy in January where they found something, I then went for a TURBT in February & finally got my diagnosis in March G3T1, I couldn't have BCG or CHEMO due to me having had a kidney transplant so on the 11th May I had an RC where they removed both my native kidneys & my womb & ovaries at the same time. Unfortunately I got neumonia & pluracy a couple of weeks after so ended up back in a couple of times so missed my 6 week check ( I'm going this Thurs), hopefully I will get some good news. I didn't really want a urostomy but at least I'm still here and there's a couple of silver linings, no more monthly cycle & don't really have to queue for the toilet now, haha.
Hi Alina
You have been through the ropes but I love your humour. A sense of humour is so important. I had a urostomy 16 months ago. My stoma is called Basil, after Basil Fawlty and he is my best friend because he saved my life. Basil and I jog along nicely.
I had womb and ovaries removed, I am 69 so haven't had periods for years but as you say there are silver linings. Not having to get up at night and not having to pee like a girly anymore which saves a lot of time lol.
I wish you all the best and fingers crossed for good results
