Hi Bass man and welcome to the group. Waiting for a diagnosis is the most difficult and anxious time and you always imagine the worst case scenario. From what you say I am assuming you have had the results from your TURBT but are waiting for another procedure to identify if it’s invaded the bladder wall.

The members on this forum have a wealth of experience on all aspects of bladder cancer. and will be happy to answer any concerns you may have. We’ve all been in your situation so feel free to ask any questions or just call in to chat or let off steam.

    Best wishes Luce

  • Hi Bass man,Welcome from me too. There is plenty of advice and support here.Best wishes Jane

  • thank you,yes i have had results, its high grade but they got it all out.had scan yesterday, got the other procedure in 2 weeks,my mind is like a cement mixer going round and round.

  • That second look is standard procedure, to determine most suitable treatment options. Try to bear in mind that the cancer has been detected and is being addressed - it is still very treatable. You may be given difficult choices - feel free to quiz those here who chose a specific path. Once you have a treatment plan, things become a bit easier. Best wishes.

  • Hi Bass man and also welcome. If as Teasswill mentions you are given choices you find difficult, just a word. Especially as you have apparently already been told 'they got it all out', do take time to research and consider all choices offered and possibly even others, before you answer the doctors. It will not be so urgent you have to make a snap decision.

    best wishes, Denby
