Hi all, diagnosed with above and meeting with surgeon the Friday May 21 to go over surgery (kidney/ureter/bladder cuff removal), plus he wants me to take chemo PRIOR to getting surgery. Not sure why as right now does not look like it has metastasized to anywhere else....even the lymph nodes as far as he can tell.
As I am sure you all know, I am overwhelmed! Just as a side note this is not my first go around with cancer. 37 years ago I went through surgery and radiation and chemo for aggressive breast cancer.
I am here and also in kidney group.....don't have a group for this kind of cancer!
Hope to hear from someone who has gone through this/similar. They do treat this like bladder cancer. Thank you!
