Hi huys.
I was diagnosed grade 3 bladder cancer in 2017 and had the tumour removed and have been clear since then after 23 bcg treatments, my last being last January 2020, i've had 2 clear cystoscopy's since then , my latest was December 2020. Now just recently i've ( thought ) i've had a slight tingling sensation when i go for a wee on and off, naturally suffering with anxiety i went the doctors last week and was told my urine was totally clear, do i need to be worried ? My next Cystoscopy is in June but i'm so paranoid the cancer may have returned ?
Hi . Sorry you find yourself back here after all this time, but good to know you've been doing well up to now. I think we all worry when we notice something different happening. Do you still have contact with a CNS you could call. Try calling the urology dept. and let them know you fears and see if they can get you in for an earlier cystoscopy. Best wishes.
Hi
Very common to worry about the return, it doesn't matter what kind of treatment you have and how confident your medical team are abour the success of your treatment, we all have worries. I usually find having a chat with my CSN Team (and I have two, long story) helps and mine are regularly available. Short of that, call the Nurses on this site. Again, always helpful. You are probably fine, but a little reassurance always helps.
