So I’ve been feeling unwell about three months we just thought stubborn uti. I got hot sweats, limited flow in urine output. A very large gross hematoa last week. Pain in flank, back and ovary bladder area.
ct scan clear and consultant is now just looking at bladder cancer. I’m scared and trying to do one day at a time. I’ve had water in my legs and painful legs too.
Good evening Debssunshine and welcome to the group. We know how you must be feeling. It is the uncertainty of what the future holds, but be aware that BC can be treated successfully . That's if it does turn out to be BC. Many of us have been there. A cystoscopy is a fairly straight forward procedure. Usually painless but maybe a bit uncomfortable, but only takes few minutes. You will be able to see for yourself on screen and you will be talked through it. Stay off google as there is a lot of misinformation out there and stick with us. Feel free to ask anything. In the meantime, if you are showing signs of blood it is important to drink plenty of water to keep things flushed out. Best wishes.
