Evening all,
I’ve come to the conclusion that I really need some professional help with the anxiety ( not that you guys haven’t been brilliant)
my local Maggies opens on Friday, so I will make a point of going in there for a chat, and probably a cry…
my CNS recommended that I go there…it’s at the Royal free where I get my treatment…
Been looking at their web site, I think (hope) they can really help me…
happy new year to you all.
Love The Nigel’s…xxxx
p.s Mickys the Guinea pig has gone back home…we was told that his Mum had left the country, so we got a shock when she turned up….we miss him xxx
Hi Nigel, I hope you find a huge benefit from talking to someone face to face . There is nothing like the effect of human touch , compassion and understanding. You will be able to tell all without having to protect a loved one or feel a sense of guilt. It may be just what you need. I have a list of tools i reach for to keep the dreaded anxiety at bay, I haven't yet told any of my family about the cancer , just Mr Halofan, so i have had to use all the tools to get through. You guys are top of the list and I dont know how I would be without you. We will all get through this together friend. Good luck on Friday. Remind yourself that you are safe , and your thoughts are not facts . sending you a hug x
Much love Angela x
Morning Angela, I’ve not managed to get there yet…went back to the vets on Saturday to get our little boys leg checked out again as it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, our vet decided that an X-ray would be needed, we went for that yesterday, turned out he has torn a ligament, so he now needs surgery which I’m taking him for today….then a 16 week recovery period for him….im gutted for him… my anxiety levels are very low so that’s a good thing…just a bit worried of how I will cope during the next set of BCG… when it goes through the roof again…I hope your well…
love to all Nigel xx
