A bit of light relief while we are on this cancer journey, evoking memories, joys , passion and funny stories. Its all here from prog rock, to punk rock and everything in between. Hope you book mark it and join in. Music can be a huge comfort in times of distress . It can also make you dance around the kitchen when no one is watching ! Add your stories. Recently chatted about Mr Halofan attending a YES concert, and it was really uplifting.
Hi Herothedog,
Yes a total surprise we thought she was singing with her choir but when we got to the Library theatre she was there onstage. A nice festival which is informal, free and laid back. Apparently Saturday was a better day with sunshine and bigger crowds. Garviv

Oh Garvivthat sounds like a brilliant day. The pride for your grandaughter , in front of 50 people at 11 yrs old, i would have been in floods. The festival sounds so good . Finishing on lenny kravitz would he a high that everyone can join in . Great day, wonderful memories for all the family
Much love Angela x
Mr Halofan had heard of the swiss family but said he never investigated the sound because the name was daft haha! I think he will probably look into now that its been mentioned, just out of curiosity.
Rush were actually a really first rate band ( not my thing tbh) but i can still remember the words to a few of theirs even though i wasnt a fan/follower
Much love Angela x
You actually inspired me to listen to Spirit of Radio , and its really quite a tune. It wouldnt make my Desert Island list , but definitely on a playlist. I had a look on you tube and they still have 700k subscribers. Not forgotten by any stretch of imagination Scotvip
Much love Angela x
They are still loved by many, I follow a tribute band called Moving Pictures they are now filling good sized halls, been to Canada to play at a Neil Peart day, invited by his mother, and they are a three piece 2 guys and an amazing young lady on the drums, close your eyes and relive great times.
Texting to and fro as they made their way home [poor son-in-law is a head chef with an early start this morning ) apparently No 2 bought the tickets originally intending to take big sister, but big sister and her OH decided on going on holiday, so son in law got to go with her.
