Good afternoon all, apologies, a wow is me message.
I am being treated with Cisplatin and Etopicide for my bladder cancer. Thought I had been coping like a true hero. Turns out, for me at least, chemo3 has come home with bells and whistles added. Last chemo was 10th August, this week I have been flattened. Asked for additional anti queasy meds, mostly feel like pooh and completely drained.
Anyone else dealing with this sort of stuff. I hope not, but if you are, please, keep on keeping on x

Hi Simon. I was on Gemcitabine with Cisplatin. No real problems during treatment, but after it finished I was hit with bouts of fatigue which made me curl up on the couch for a couple of hours, but it gradually got better. Best wishes.
Hi Simon. My husbands on gem cis and has been really good with it apart from after 1st long one he had hiccups for 3 days non stop, then on his 2nd long one he developed something which has just been diagnosed after lots of scans and blood tests as blue toe syndrome. He goes for cycle 3 next tuesday so come next weekend we wonder what delight will be in store for him. He's had no nausea only slight fatigue so hopefully he will get through it ok and hopefully you will too x
IThanks Jane,
I've had cyclizine anti sickness meds added, to work I'm conjunction with Domperidone, beginning to feel a little more human.

Hi Simon,Fingers crossed the new meds help. It’s horrible feeling sick on top of being wiped out.Though I didn’t have chemo I was really sick post surgery.Rest up.Love Jane xx
We always referred to domperidone as Dom Perignon, worked much better .
Good afternoon Jane,
Double dosing the anti queasy tablets, got a good durable timetable for them now, so feeling more in control.
Currently enjoying Pembrokeshire, having just walked 7miles of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Tiring but good.
Here for a week, overlooking freshwater Bay East. Lovely.
Hope you and yours are well Jane, thanks for checking in.
