Morning all. I'm new to this group. My husband has been diagnosed with small cell bladder cancer and is due to start chemo soon. It seems its a rare cancer to have in the bladder. Has anyone else any experience of this? Thanks.
Good Morning DigsySE18 and welcome to the group although sorry to hear your husband has been diagnosed with bc. As you say, small cell is very rare. I did not have small cell, but did have chemo as have others here. If you know what chemo your husband will be having, we should be able to answer any questions. Best wishes.
Hi Di,There are many factors for the team to consider with regards to surgery. The general health of the patient, age, the nature of the cancer, the location of the cancer, quality of life post surgery etc.I had squamous cell which is rare but not as uncommon as small cell.I shall keep everything crossed for your husband’s chemo.Love Jane x
