Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've been on here. Mainly because I've been doing my best not to think about anything cancer related!
Finished my six rounds of BCG which were uneventful and no side effects whatsoever. All good.
Had a RC today which revealed a 1mm recurrence (not on the original site) which he whipped out. No catheter and no overnight stay. My consultant is pretty sure it is low grade and didn't seem that worried. He was very positive about it being elsewhere. It's gone off for biopsy so fingers crossed . He told me it is a normal nusiance and shouldn't effect my treatment plan - i.e another three BCG treatments.
Has anyone else had the same?? Is this 'normal'??
Hope everyone is keeping well.

Yes I have had the full 27 doses of BCG and have had 4 recurrences during the treatment but all were low grade unlike my initial tumour which was high grade. My docs also not concerned and treatment plan maintained to completion. They say they will continue monitor 3 monthly. My last rigid cystoscopy was all clear. Fingers crossed for us both xx
Thank you ️
That's very comforting to know. Yes fingers crossed for ever more!!
