Hey all, glad to see some familiar names and anyone newish you've done the right thing. Just finished the side affect from BCG 15.. flexis all good too. I'm having long lasting urgency and unpredictable urine issues with large white debris for a good few weeks afterwards bladder scouring? Poached egg in there?. Mentally struggling no spring in step, everything's an obligation. Displacing worry into work and generally flat. Had some therapy this week and realising that there needs to be a new after diagnosis me and a new normal need to find some joy in the world I guess.on a break till sept so really wanted to spring forth this summer hopefully I can. Not sure what I'm posting just needed to summarise it somewhere and this place has always helped. Phew long missive
Hi Andy E . Good to hear from you again. Good to know things are working well but sorry you are feeling a bit down. Treatment does take its toll on the body which in turn affects mental attitude as fatigue sets in. The old adage of time is a great healer is true in these cases. As your body recovers from all the trauma it has gone through, things should get easier. Hope you start feeling better soon as we get in to the summer and enjoy your break in treatment. Best wishes.
Hi Andy E, so glad to hear your flexis are all clear and you've got a 3 month treatment holiday. BCG is such a long drawn-out schedule, just being on the timetable treadmill feels exhausting. My treatment went on over 4 years. I really hope you can find ways to relish the joy of being alive x Could you give yourself special treats, something you'd love to do or have? I went away on a big holiday during my BCG (Sri Lanka national parks....elephants and leopards, totally lifted my heart). I also got a new puppy and ate cake
