Keratin-17 test means early new or recurrent bladder cancer can be picked up without a cystoscopy. Could not paste link so you will have to search it, then you can choose a more or less technical report to suit your preference.

I think this test has been around for several years but nothing seems to come of it. Looking it up again, I see NICE did a report earlier this year, but nothing further. Possibly again down to the lack of funding in bladder cancer research compared to other cancers. Best wishes.
