I had my bladder removed 3 weeks ago and have not stopped bleeding from the site of the lymph nodes. How long on average does this last. My consultant couldn't narrow it down and said it wasn't usual but it did happen. I've already been hospitalised with infected lymph glands. Any advice would be helpful
Hi Emmababycat. Sorry I can't help with your question, but let me welcome you to the group. I am sure someone with experience of this will be along to help. Best wishes.
Hi,I didn’t have this problem after cystectomy but 3 weeks seems a long time to still be bleeding. What follow up are you having ? The hospital rang me every week for the first few weeks and I could discuss any concerns with them.Do you have a specialist nurse ? I think you need to speak to someone just to make sure that everything is ok.Hopefully someone here will have had some experience and can answer your question and reassure you.Best wishes Jane
Hi, my consultant had no idea when it would stop which wasn’t helpful. Strangely the woman next but one in hospital had the same problem and she’d had an urostomy 2 months ago. Otherwise I’m fine. I’ve got a stoma nurse practitioner I can phone.
Good to know you are fine.I didn’t have lymph node bleeding but I did have vaginal bleeding that went on for weeks.I hope it settles soon.Love Jane x
