Hi, I’m having my TURBT op in 3 days time. I’ve been having some discomfort when passing urine and wondered if I need to inform the hospital. My urine looks clear but it does sting a bit when I wee. I did have to go into hospital through urine retention about 2.5 weeks ago. I was catheterised but the first attempt was unsuccessful and very painful. Basically, I’m worried I may have an infection.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Hi . Might be an idea to give the hospital a ring to check. Hopefully your op will go ahead as planned and you should feel a bit better afterwards. Best wishes.
