Hi saskia1, yes we all get jittery as we get closer to a screening. I try to push it to the back of my mind, working on the theory that worrying is a waste of my energy. Nonetheless it is always a relief after a cystoscopy is over even when there has been a reoccurrence. Somehow the unknown is more nerve-wracking. Low grade cancers frequently reappear, but can be removed vey successfully. I've had 4 small low grade reoccurrences in past 4 years but I'm still living a generally well and healthy life. Good luck for tomorrow. Hope you get the marvellous all clear. x
Hi Saskia1. I'm several years down the line and still get the jitters before each check. Just try and keep yourself busy to keep your mind off it. I hope all goes well for you. Best wishes.
Thank you so much. It's such a support when talking to people who know how it feels. Thank you xx
