Hi all,
I’ve had the tumour removed and a further TURBT to check it, I’m now about to undergo the BCG which I’m very relieved about .
There was the usual bleeding after the op for a couple of days but the worse thing is my penis is now bent. It has a small bend in the middle, like a dog leg.
It seems to be ok, although its not entirely comfortable. it’s now 7 weeks after the last op. Is this common, will it go back to how it was?
Thank you
Hi Peter5555 and a welcome to this friendly and supportive group. This does sound to be a bit unusual. I have been on here for a while now and can't remember anything similar, but we do occasionally hear of slight damage being done by the cystoscope. I would get it checked out to be on the safe side. Best wishes.
Hi Peter, I would imagine the best route would be your consultant. Make a request to speak to them via the nurses at first and if no luck , I would call the consultants secretary to make an appointment. A supportive aw isnt helpful at all when you need an answer. Good luck and keep us updated
Much love Angela x
