Just had my 17th flexi, all clear. The last one I was told it would go to yearly but this time I was told it shouldn’t be yearly but 6 months so back to 6 months again, I don’t mind though, this one got to be a year with covid and it’s a bit scary. Good luck to you all xxx
Marvellous news Sue both the all clear and the 6 monthly screening. Happy 17th xxx
Mr W had a letter yesterday he has been listed for his flexi but no date He has to isolate for 14 days prior to appointment and Covid swab 3/4 days prior Just getting used to new normal and going out and eating out When appointment arrives back to isolating There are just the 2 of us so I will isolate too Still only 14 days and hopefully an allclear As usual my anxiety levels ramping up and struggle to get on here not helped
love Wilbert xx
Good news you are getting flexible cystoscopy but more isolation! I am waiting for my flexi appointment to arrive ,was due in July. Good luck, stay safe. Garviv

Hi Wilbert, you have my sympathy I haven't managed to escape lock-down at all yet! On July 8th I started 3 weeks of BCG (doses 19-21) so I had to continue isolate, and then told to strictly shield for at least 2 weeks afterwards. My previous letter from Boris said I could go out from 1st August which is tomorrow but actually I'm still shielding until Wednesday
I’m finding this site SO so bloody hard, I’m not at all computer wise, I found it hard before the change over but now absolutely lost. I got logged In through face book and now it keeps telling me about the app (whatever that is) I have enough to worry about without all this, don’t even know if I can get on the kidney site for my husband.
Anyhow just to say good luck to Mr W, I didn’t have to isolate at all, just went to hospital asked at the door the time of my appointment and off I went, got to urology no hand gel so not happy about that, I was waiting for 3/4hr, that wasn’t good, the results were though, so I had that done last Friday and today I received the letter saying it was fine and back in 6 months. My husband had a CT scan same hospital he was in and out in 5 mins, still waiting for results over 2 weeks now.
So I may be back lol if I can manage it but I’m not going to stress my self out trying, I’ll just use the other site on FB. Good luck to you all x
Hi sueCC. i see from your profile you are still a member of the Kidney Group. If you click on your profile and then groups at the top of the page, click on Kidney group and it should take you there. I noticed when you change groups, it logs you out, so you can't post. Click on the head icon in the top right and it should log you back in. I'm sure there must be a better way though. Improvements eh? Best wishes.
