On my online gp notes it said 4 tumours. Two papillary and two solid. When they did turbt i asked surgeon afterwards if it was several, he said one slightly behind another. In notes its down as one 3cm tumour. When i questioned it with urology nurse she said they probably joined. Anyone else heard of this?
Thanks
Sue.
Hi Sue. Papillary tumours are usually long stringy things. The solid tumours are usually called TCC (Transitional cell carcinoma) and the most common. It is not uncommon to have a mixture. The initial post op reports are generally very basic. Once the biopsies are concluded and you have a follow up consultation, you will have a much clearer picture. Best wishes.
