On my online gp notes it said  4 tumours. Two papillary and two solid. When they did turbt i asked surgeon afterwards if it was several, he said one slightly behind another. In notes its down as one 3cm tumour. When i questioned it with urology nurse she said they probably joined. Anyone else heard of this?

Thanks

Sue.

  • Hi Sue. Papillary tumours are usually long stringy things. The solid tumours are usually called TCC (Transitional cell carcinoma) and the most common. It is not uncommon to have a mixture. The initial post op reports are generally very basic. Once the biopsies are concluded and you have a follow up consultation, you will have a much clearer picture. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
