Hi everyone, can I ask from tumour removed how long did you wait to have the treatment , chemo poured into your bladder I have been offered 6 sessions, thanks

Hi Steve. The standard is usually six weeks after a TURBT, but can be less in some cases. They need your bladder to heal before treatment of either Mitomycin (chemotherapy) or BCG (immunotherapy). The treatment is designed to help prevent any recurrences.Best wishes.
