I had the ovary scan this afternoon, he says it looks like a small fibroid im booked in to see him in 4 months to keep a check. So at least its not linked to the bladder tumours. He asked what medication i was on and i mentioned anti depressants only since diagnosis and he said it was very unusual and its 8better to wallow in it. I said believe me i am still wallowing. Ive never ever needed them before luckily. Did anyone else take something to take edge off?

Hi zxcv. Good to know the scan didn't turn up anything of real concern. When I was first told I had cancer, I did have he odd meltdown. I had no idea what to expect. When I got on the treatment trail, things changed as you tend to focus on the treatment in hand rather than looking at the what ifs. The rounds of various appointments keep you focused. I had to put up a wall chart to keep up. Once I accepted my situation, I would tell anyone who would listen what I was going through, even using a bit of humour to account for some of the indignities we go through. We did try counselling for my wife's sake, but the counsellor was more depressed than we were and we came away laughing. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes.
