I had rotator cuff problems once after I fell in the street (tripped over my husband who was avoiding a woman pushing a pram!) and cracked my humerus. That's when they also found the osteoporosis. The physio gave me some good shoulder exercises and within a few months I was back to normal. I hope that might help you too?

Osteoarthritis is a pain as well though my sister has rheumatoid which sounds worse. I'm feeling quite stiff at the moment especially ankles and knees, but am trying resistance bands which seem to be working, when I remember to do them.

Yes, the joys of getting older, all right, though I found out about the arthritis at 35 (and very obese). That's when I joined a gym. It helped a lot x

Couldn't agree more about the benefits of good, flexible, custom orthotics. I think if the NHS assessed every MSK patient at least, and provided these they would save a fortune. The only NHS ones I or our daughter, both hypermobile, have had have been stupid, pain-INCREASING stiff off the shelf things. Grr.
