Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hello Blanket, Grade 1 sounds better than Grade 2 to me. So I'd be raising a glass at that result.....as it's Friday I'll be doing that in about 15 minutes actually cheers! x
Hi..... its a mini version apparently and it came in the pot. We definitely do not have the space to plant in the ground that's why he bought this one which isn't supposed to grow as big. Ha ha..... we shall see.
I’ve been clearing out the room I use as an office/workroom.I had hoped to set up as a photographic researcher, dating and identifying old photographs for genealogists and the like. This is not going to happen now,I’m not well enough.I’m keeping the fashion/costume books and cuttings as they may be of interest to someone. It’s a bright sunny day here.Love to you all Jane xx
Sorry to hear you are not feeling great still Jane.
It's a lovely day isn't it and we've been lucky over the weekend too. We went to the seaside on Saturday and took my parents out for breakfast yesterday.
Amazing sunset last night.
Sending love to all
Clare
Hi Clare,Your photos are lovely.I might try and get out in the garden this week as the forecast doesn’t look too bad. It’s noisy here, diggers out at the back and the water board at the front.I’ve cleared out over 20 files this morning. The papers can be recycled. Can’t believe I have so much stuff but I did use it.I have to be realistic.I struggled with ill health before cancer and it’s worse now.The nursing home rung at the weekend to ask permission for mum to have her Covid booster on Wednesday.I hope she will be ok with it.Love Jane xx
Having a good clear out is good for the soul but can be emotionally draining. Definitely get some time outside if you can.
I'm struggling to stay awake today and I have a 4 hour video conference starting soon.
Hope the booster goes well.... my mother in law felt unwell with hers but managed to sleep it off and felt bettwr the following day.
Clare
Good luck with the conference, fingers crossed you can stay awake for the duration.tc love Jane xx
Certainly is emotionally draining, where we're at atm too long-term after our chaotic move and short notice of builder starting on our garage to bedroom n bathroom conversion just as lockdown happened....
Denby
Hi Jane, feel so sorry to hear you sounding a bit despondent. You got through the cancer stuff so stoically. My money is you have some kind of spinal problem. The pain is so demoralising, I remember it only too well. Have you tried osteopathy? Some folk swear by it. I do pilates every week now which I find helps me stay mobile. It is absolutely stunning here today, autumnal colour in blazing sunshine. Hope you can find something which lifts your spirits. Big hugs Hx
Hello Denby, good to see you pop up, though sorry you've had chaos sorting your ground floor bedroom and bathroom. I agree sorting through years of accumulated paperwork, photos and general "stuff" is exhausting. I do always feel somehow cleansed when I've done it though. Trouble is there always seems to be more to do I never took myself to be a hoarder but I do seem to have kept an enormous amount of sentimental rubbish. You haven't mentioned Mr D's BC screening for a while. Is he one of those lucky ones who gets allowed 6 months between flexis now? Sending you love Hx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
