Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Lovely.....there's something amazing about rainbows that you never grow out of.
We've had thunder and lightning here today and it's been freezing! Because the house was being rewired I had to have the windows open! Brrrrrr

Me too rily. That's true A, we always point & shout like we've never seen them before . I've been to the seaside & staying in an apartment overlooking the sea, it's been so peaceful & interesting watching the changing skies. Can you believe every time we got by a pub it rained so we had to rush in save getting wet?
Met up with family too & had a good time.
Nurse rang me yesterday, she'd offered me more Epirubicin & I said that I'd think about it before my holiday. I've had a good think & decided against it this time. I'm so grateful that it's been offered but after telling me I had 9 months grace before the next cysto, & then I get a call asking this I was pretty devastated. I just don't think that me & the catheter get on very well, my urologist didn't catheterise me for my last TURBT & I wonder if this was why I had no pain. The very though of 2 months of that pain & sitting on the toilet just filled me with horror!
Hi Blanket, your holiday sounds great. Shame about the wet weather forcing you into the pub, but needs must
I don't generally get much pain after catheters but I know the BCG nurses deliberately use the thinest they have. They never hurt at all. I definitely notice the difference when they put the camera one in at flexi. It feels sharp when initially being inserted and can leave me a bit sore the following day. Kind of bruised. Was your last TURBT all clear or low grade? If so I think I would also hold back from further chemo. You can always save it to be the cavalry if you get an unfavourable cysto. Enjoy your 9 months of freedom!
Thanks Clare,The views here are far reaching so I do take a lot of photos. That’s a bay tree on the right. It used to be low and neat ! Love Jane x
