Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi H,I’m sorry to hear you are having problems with the insurance.I hope you can get a hire car.It must be much trickier with transport in a more remote location.I’m in a small town and the public transport system is worse here now than when I moved here in 1998.Transport is one of the things I have to consider in a new place as I can’t drive. It was never a problem until fairly recently.I can’t afford to run a car even if I could drive.Love Jane x
At least you are inside in the warm, the weather is very windy here to in Kent.
It’s very windy in Norfolk, I picked my last runner beans from the garden today, never gone on this late before, it’s a funny old world.
Had them tonight, they were nice, have done well with our veg this year, haven’t had to buy much and still eating my tomatoes! my garden is somewhere I can forget about things and just get on x ( although I keep growing kale, my husband is not keen but it’s good for you!)
They sound delicious.I can’t manage my garden these days. It’s long and terraced.I love it but it’s too much since I had cancer. It’s not a jungle but some of the trees need pruning and the hedge and bay need cutting back.I used to have help but I can’t afford it now.I’m saving up to get a couple of jobs done before the house goes on the market.I hope I can have a garden when I move as I find gardening therapeutic.Love Jane x
Gardening is hard work and I think you have an awful lot to sort out so you don’t have the time or energy to do it, it’s my husband who has bladder cancer so I can use my garden as my “ safe place” You have so much with everything to sort out with the house and contents etc. Jean x
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
