Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Morning Ade, what a different way to enjoy lunch with friends. So pleased you enjoyed it. Strong winds and rain forecast today. The joys of being a Grandad standing in the wind and rain watching t football games involving Grandchildren. Life indeed is
good. Garviv

Hi Garviv, I can't wait for Grandchildren to be a part of my life ️ In the meantime there are lots of puppy cuddles to enjoy
. The weather here is cold, windy and rainy, Yuk. Just got back from my annual CT scan so going to settle down with a coffee in the warm.
Enjoy your weekend
Love Ade xx
Hi Ade,Windy and wet here in Somerset. It doesn’t inspire me to get on,having a cup of tea and pondering what to do.I hope you don’t have to wait too long for your scan results.Have a good day.Love Jane xxx
Hi Jane, no the weather doesn't inspire me to go outside apart from wrapping up in my big coat and taking the pup for a walk....brrrrr
I've got my next cystoscopy in April with my Consultant so I hope he has the CT results when I see him.
Stay warm and enjoy your day.
Love Ade xx
I hope you get your results before then.I think I shall draw out John’s mum’s family tree.I have written out over a hundred pages so far but have to draw it so it’s relatively easy to follow. She is 90 and her memory is not what it was.I shall leave out the details of the ancestor who was a kleptomaniac though as that would upset her.I started researching it several years ago but shelved it when I got cancer and mum’s health got worse. It’s been good to get back to it and I have enjoyed doing it.Xx
Beautiful daffs Jane, they are a favourite of mine. I had my cystoscopy today and all clear still. After two years of frequent check ups I am moving to 6monthly cystoscopies for two years and after next CT scan also in six months they will be moving to annually. I am beyond grateful to the NHS and the wonderful staff at my hospital who are so supportive. It’s 28 years tomorrow that I lost my dear dad to a brain tumour, he was 64, and because of progress with cancer treatment since then I have surpassed his age at 65 and am cancer free.
Never give up hope
