Hi folks had my turvy 22 May with follow up tburbt 9 August  due to chemo wash 6weeks.

Consultant said all looks clear  but bladder inflamed which  was the cause of my constant toilet runs not funny but was in a way..

The chemo had calcified the scars from the removal of cancers from first turvy.

So he addressed them as well as resect/ resect to take

Histology. Anybody had these symptoms. Good new was no cancer seen so awaiting results.

Sorry if it's a bit slapdash but first post

  • Hi and welcome to the group. Not a club you would volunteer to join, but I am sure you will find we are a friendly and supportive lot. There is a wide variety of experience here and so we should be able to answer any questions. Also a great place just to talk if you ever feel like it. We will all understand. I believe the calcification you mention is also known as necrotic (dead) tissue. They usually just scrape it away to make sure nothing is hidden.Sounding positive that no new cancer was found. Treatment such as BCG and Mitomycin as you know can leave various sorts of damage which can take a while to heal. The constant toilet visits are common and some people are affected more than others. Your GP can sometimes prescribe something to help with this. And as always, regular drinks of water to help keep things fresh and flushed out. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
