Hello everyone
My wife has been having chemo since February and her last session is on 5th June.we have been told the the chemo hasn't work as well as they wanted basically it hasn't shrunk. It has also spread to 4 lynth nodes and cervix and maybe the womb. They are saying that surgery isn't a option because it's too much to remove so for now they are going to do a bladder diversion to help with the continued water infection my wife as.also they have recommended we go on a trial drug called alantis which is a blind trial first before radiotherapy.
Is there anybody else in a similar situation we just need to talk to someone x
Hello and welcome to the community, although sorry to hear you wife's chemo has not been as good as expected. The Atlantis trial is fairly new and we have not heard too much about it, although we do have members here who have been on it and may be able to help. I had radiotherapy, so may be able to answer any questions you have on that. Best wishes.
